TAMANI Hotels and Resorts & Dubai World raises joint fund from
Ramadan Tent to benefit charityDubai, October 2008: KM Holding, parent company of KM Properties and TAMANI
Hotels and Resorts, together with Dubai World, successfully raised fund from donations
made from this year’s Ramadan tent which will go towards various charity
organisations spanning the Emirates and outside.
TAMANI Hotels and Resorts known for its strong commitment to social corporate
responsibility and its various charity driven initiatives in the market stood out as the
perfect venue to host the various activities of Dubai World companies including its
flagship companies DP World, Economic Zones World, Istithmar World, Nakheel and

The Secretary-General of Dubai World, Mr. Farid Mohammed Ahmed said: “Dubai
World realises the significance of supporting charity organisations and the Ramadan
tent at TAMANI Hotel Marina provided us the right platform to show our commitment
to society.
“Caring for the community is one of the core virtues of Dubai World, we are glad that
we were able to join hands with TAMANI Hotels and Resorts during the Holy month of
Ramadan, to fulfill a moral obligation. This act becomes more meaningful in light of the
fact that the group is engaged in business sectors that are close to social
development,” he added.
