TAMANI Hotels and Resorts appoints Roddy GordonDubai, May 2008: TAMANI Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality arm of KM Holding, announces the appointment of Roddy Gordon to the post of Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
More recently Roddy was the pre-opening Director of Marketing for the 674 bedroom Grand Hyatt Hotel, before
moving to a portfolio position in Seoul as Area Director of Marketing for Hyatt Korea and Micronesia. Mr. Gordon has
returned from New Zealand to take up this role at TAMANI.
Commenting on the new role Roddy said “ I am extremely proud to be working with the emerging TAMANI brand which
is a hotel management company of vision and principle with a dynamic future in the sector. The prospect of building
the brand and establish a reputation for authentic Arabic hospitality were driving forces behind my joining Tamani.”
Mr. Gordon’s role as Vice President of Marketing at TAMANI Hotels and Resorts will be to support individual hotels,
open channels of distribution and build the TAMANI brand in the region and beyond.
Roddy Gordon is Scottish by birth and was born in the City of Aberdeen attending Hazlehead Academy and later Robert
Gordon’s University where he graduated in 1988 with a BA Hotel, Catering and Institutional Administration.
